In air-cooled liquid chillers, the cooling of the refrigerant gas is ensured by the ambient air itself. Frigofluid offers a wide range of this type of industrial chiller in its catalogue, including a solution with free-cooling.
Cooling the refrigerant gas by means of a water exchanger: this is what characterises the water-cooled chillers, which use this feature to ensure high system efficiency. Frigofluid water chillers, with output temperatures down to -8° C, are ideal when air movement is not possible.
Frigofluid adiabatic dry coolers are cooling systems that use outside air to cool the fluid circulating inside their “finned coil.” Pre-cooling the air with short water wetting cycles (through the “adiabatic” section) allows for an increase in efficiency, typically needed during warmer times of the year, or in situations where the process fluid temperature must be lower than the outside air temperature.
Industrial dry coolers are closed-loop cooling systems suitable for applications requiring a process fluid temperature no lower than the ambient air temperature. Frigofluid can offer customers dry cooler systems in “table” or “V” configuration for different installation needs.These are compact solutions that do not require water use and are simple to operate and maintain.
Industrial termoregulation units manufactured by Frigofluid are designed to condition moulds and cylinders in various industrial processes. In plastic moulding, process fluids are kept at temperature, thus reducing the use of electrical power for heating and limiting the cooling power spent on cooling by self-stabilisation.
