Frigofluid at Plastpol 2025: green refrigeration solutions for the Plastics Industry

Frigofluid brings innovation and sustainability to Plastpol 2025: the protagonists are the RP Chiller, with environmentally friendly R290 refrigerant, and the FTT-DC Temperature Controller, designed to self-stabilize temperatures in industrial processes.

Green refrigerants and energy savings are therefore the protagonists of Frigofluid’s solutions at the 29th edition of the international trade fair of reference for the plastics and rubber industry, in which we will participate together with our group company MITA Cooling Technologies and our partner in Poland EETS: an appointment that will take place from May 20 to 23, 2025 in Kielce, Poland.

1. Featured products: innovation and performance

The first solution that Frigofluid is presenting at Plaspol together with MITA Cooling Technologies is the RW / EFC ax chiller: an advanced system for industrial refrigeration that combines energy efficiency and sustainability with integrated free-cooling technology. The system is designed to automatically adapt to environmental conditions, alternating between three operating modes:

• in summer, with temperatures above 23°C, it operates with the compressors to ensure maximum output;
• in intermediate conditions (15-23°C), it combines compressors and free-cooling to reduce consumption;
• in winter, below 15°C, it exclusively uses outside air to cool the fluid, allowing energy savings of up to 80 percent compared to conventional systems.

In addition, MITA will present the RP series industrial chiller-a cutting-edge solution in sustainable industrial refrigeration. Using the natural refrigerant R290 (propane) with a GWP (Global Warming Potential) of 3, this system combines high performance and low environmental impact. The RP range is ideal for discharge temperatures from 1°C to 25°C, offering a perfect balance between sustainability and energy efficiency. In addition, the use of scroll compressors and micro-channel condensers ensures its maximum reliability in industrial applications.

The FTT-DC water temperature controller is designed for processes requiring stable temperatures up to 140°C. With a direct cooling function and integration with external water sources, the device ensures long self-stabilization of temperatures. A touch-screen panel facilitates parameter management, while oversized pumps ensure high performance even under complex heat loads.
